Julie Fiocchi Waltz
- NBC-HWC; MMP; IL-LMT;
Julie is a multi-credentialed health & wellness professional. She began her would-be career in High School, working as an assistant for various medical, dental & surgical professionals, and continued working in the healthcare field throughout her time in college. In that time, Julie fell most in-love with the service aspect of practicing medicine: patient healthcare and their wellness. As such, Julie has continued to expand upon her education & professional credentials over the years to include...
In 2008, Julie became an IL State Licensed Massage Therapist. She later expanded upon her massage therapy credentials and became a certified Medical Massage Practitioner, Pre- and Peri-natal Massage Therapist, and certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. She is currently working on advancing her massage credentials to include Neuro-Lymphatic Drainage techniques to help individuals with neuro-degenerative conditions find relief from some of their symptoms.
In 2011, Julie continued expanding upon her health & wellness credentials by becoming a PMA Certified Pilates Instructor. Julie has always had a great love for dancing and the movement-arts, and was naturally drawn to Pilates because of its similarities to them. However, she fell most in love with the way her body began to feel after practicing it regularly, as well as her ability to control her body movements with her mind.
In 2015, after Julie's youngest child was born, she chose to take a temporary break from her work outside the home. This allowed her to take on the role as primary caregiver for her daughter, Leilah, who was born with multiple health complications and a diagnosis of Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). In desperation to find solutions for some of her daughter's health complications, when there seemed to be few in existence, Julie began learning about CPTG Essential Oils and their ability to help the body heal itself. Julie became a Certified Essential Oil Specialist. She now educates her clients on proper & safe usage of CPTG Essential Oils, and incorporates them into some of her services as well.
In 2022, Julie went back to school to finish her degree in Health & Wellness Coaching. She is now a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) through the NBHWC. This board certification allows her to work even more closely within the medical field, as evidence is proving the vast benefits of incorporating wellness techniques into patient healthcare.
Currently, Julie is working to expand her coaching credentials to include certifications in various body awareness, breathwork, and mindfulness meditation techniques as well as Neuro-Lymphatic Drainage .
Julie is a lifelong learner and plans to continue to expand upon her list of credentials throughout her career.
She is a strong advocate for positive change, and embodies the concept of 'being the change you wish to see in the world'. She hopes to inspire positive action in others around her.
